Some weeks back, we shared a post about Felicity Tejada the young girl from Philiphines that won the Grand Prize for the International Children's Art Contest organized by Mamai Art Gallery.
Felicity got more recognition from her country alongside other International Award winning artists. She recieved an award from President of Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts.
Artists deserve this kind of recognition in their communities and countries, they do so much to grow their communities which so often goes unrecognized.
Thank you President Rodrigo Duterte for empowering Filipino artists of all ages.
